Yes, this is how I spend my time. And I don’t really have enough books for this to be necessary, but I did it anyways.

do you buy all of your books, or borrow from friends and libraries? Because I know I personally love to buy them because I love to own them and have them always be there, but they are so expensive!!!
I mainly borrow books from the library but I do read a lot of my own. I bought a lot of books for not very much from my library’s shop, which raises money for the library. I also build credit at a used bookstore by taking in books I don’t want anymore. I also always check out what’s on discount when I go to bookstores.

Oops, maybe you’re right and I misunderstood the question! You can see my personal library here.

do you usually buy books to read or borrow them in the library ?
When I was in high school I pretty much only used the library, and only got books as gifts or from gift cards (I was weird and saved all the money I made from working). Last school year I mainly bought books, and used the library a bit, but right now I’m kind of half and half.

How often do you visit your library? Are you good about returning your books on time?
I visit maybe three times a week but only because I volunteer there! When I didn’t volunteer, I still went at least once a week. I am good at returning books on time and used to even have a overdue book calendar [x]. Now, I just check the library site really often to see when I have a due book coming up, since it lets you know.

When you do your book challenges do you buy the books or do you borrow them from the library/ a friend?
Mostly from the library, or from books that I already own. But I do buy books sometimes.

Hi! I think i saw you mention that you have the kobo touch? I was just wondering how you liked it and if you have had any problems (I have read a few negative reviews)? Also, as a fellow Canadian I really liked how you can read library books on it, so I was just wondering if you have borrowed any e-books through your library, and if so how was that experience? Thanks so much and I LOVE your blog!
Hey! I used to have the kobo-wifi and it was very slow and I ended up breaking it (my fault, not the kobos.) I’ve had the kobo touch since the eleventh, and I’ve read five books on it. I’m liking it very much so far. It’s very fast and easy to use. My dad has the black one and he’s liking it as well. For library books, I have adobe digital editions and the book just goes on there and I drag it on the kobo. It’s really easy. I would recommend getting a harder case, not the sleeve. I had a sleeve for my wifi, and if I’d had a harder case I wouldn’t have broken it. Right now I have this one and I’m happy with it: http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/ereading/accessories/NEW-Kobo-Touch-Canvas-Bookstyle/842907088817-item.html?ref=by-shop%3aereading%3akobo-accessories%3atextured-covers%3a1
Anyways, I love your blog and good luck!

I don't really have any friends who are into books. Any tips for meeting/finding book-minded people without sounding creepy?
That doesn’t sound creepy at all! Getting involved at your library is a good way, like through volunteering. My library actually has a book club for teens, and yours might too! If you’re a fan or John Green/a Nerdfighter, this site can help you find the facebook group for nerdfighters in your area, and there could even be events for you to attend. If you see someone reading your favourite book in class or in transit, don’t be afraid to strike a conversation. Asking people what they like to read is also a good conversation starter, and you just never know who’s a reader. I hope that helps!

I got 2 books from the library and I really don't know which one to read first!
My options are:
-The Diary of Anne Frank ....or
- Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater.
What do you think?
The Diary of Anne Frank is really good. I actually am going to pick Shiver up from the library tonight, so I’m going to say you should read that one, since it’s the book I’m reading next!
