Hiii, Emma :) I was wondering at what age you started getting interested in photography, because you take such beautiful pictures!
Thank you! I think when I was 13 I went through a phase where I thought I was a proper photographer (I wasn’t) and when I was 16 I got into it again and took it more seriously. I think I’ve solidly been interested in it since then, since that was when I got my first digital camera.

book recommendations?? I'm 17, in my last year as a photography student and I just want to go off travelling and write & photograph :)
Sure! For books related to travel, I like Just One Day, Anna and the French Kiss and 13 Little Blue Envelopes. In general, I’d say The Fault In Our Stars and Eleanor & Park.

Having you in my life, though indirectly, has been a wonderful experience. You're always patient and kind and you have lovely taste for photography and books. I wish we could be friends in real life.
Thank you so much! This was the perfect comment at the perfect time. I wish we could be friends too.
I made another tumblr that’s more general/some photography if anyone is interested. [x]

To the person who is 17 and is doing photography who wants to travel, Wanderlove by Kirsten Hubbard is a really good book. I would highly recommend it.
Thank you!
My interpretation of Nancy Drew for a book cover assignment. I am aiming for a little mod-inspired even though it takes places in the 30s. Digital illustration © Perrin 2013.
