“Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close” First Trailer (by upandcomersnet)
Looks Amazing! I must admit, I did get a bit emotional watching it. It looked like it stayed very true to the book. I can’t wait!

hey! thanks for following :)
I saw you posted 'Extremely loud and incredibly close'. It's a phenomenal book. I'm from NY, so the topic was really personal to me. I've recently taken interest in the Game of Thrones series, so thanks for promoting it! Now I have an excuse to purchase it!
You’re welcome! I also loved Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. I really want to read Game of Thrones, I hear it’s brilliant.

Hey.. my Fri's BD party is on this coming Saturday. I'd like grab a book for her but she's not so into cheesy love novels like i do. I don't know a lot of deep beautiful books that's worth to be a BD gift. Can you suggest any, please? :)
I’d recommend Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer, The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath, A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak and anything by John Green.

Do you know any books good for a 11 year-old girl? She's read books like the Owls of Gahoole as well as a few "light fantasy" series, but doesn't want to read Harry Potter or anything similar to it. Just wondering. Also, for the Anon who asked about books with characters with Asperger's, I think Oskar from Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer had Asperger's. (Could've just been in the movie, and not the book.)
The site A Mighty Girl has a lot of recommendations for books for girls, and I don’t think I’d be able to do any better than that. I would definitely recommend Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine and The Mysterious Howling by Maryrose Wood. Although they aren’t light fantasy, some other good books are The Penderwicks by Jeanne Birdsall, The Invention of Hugo Cabret by Brian Selznick, Walk Two Moons by Sharon Creech and From the Mixed Up Files Of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler by E.L. Konigsburg.
And thanks; I think you’re right about Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, although it’s never mentioned.

I was wondering if you had any book recommendations? I'm feeling a bit deprived.
Since you liked Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, I think you would like The History of Love by Nicole Krauss (Jonathan Safran Foer’s wife.) I would also recommend Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe.

What would you recommend me to read if I would like to read something very creative?
Some books that have creative concepts and writing styles are Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, The History of Love, The Book Thief and Norwegian Wood. I hope that’s sort of what you’re looking for!
