are you giving books to anyone for the holidays?
Yes! An illustrated copy of Home by Bill Bryson for my Dad, a copy of The Art of Tangled for a friend, a book of poetry by Pablo Neruda for another friend, a kid’s book about dinosaurs for my four year old cousin, Nancy Clancy Super Sleuth and a very nice copy of Alice in Wonderland for my six year old cousin and a Goosebump’s book for my twelve year old cousin. The books for my cousins are from my whole family, not just me.

I downloaded Google Books and have three, free books: Pride and Prejudice, Great Expectations and Alice In Wonderland. Which should I read first? :)
Pride and Prejudice! My Dad’s actually reading it right now, and we were just talking about it. It’s really good, but so is Alice.
I’ve never read Great Expectations though; I need to get on that.

I collect different editions of Alice in Wonderland. Can you tell me where you got the one in your photo from Dec 5? Thanks in advance.
I bought it at Chapters, but I found it online here. I hope that helps! It’s a really lovely edition I bought for my cousin for Christmas. I love the illustrations.

I guess you have read Alice In Wonderland? Buut I'm wondering about the followup - Through The Looking Glass - have you read it, and if so, is it worth reading? :3
I really liked The Looking Glass! It’s a completely different world and it’s definitely worth reading. I liked the role chess played in the book; it’s very clever.

I would like a recommendation. There are loads of book vloggers on YouTube but my favourite is "Bandgeek8408" and "Booksandquills". Both are pretty cool people and very clever too. The former does very long in depth reviews on Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Harry Potter etc. And the latter does a real mixture of classics and YA fiction. Hope you check them out.
Thank you! I subscribed to both! Looks awesome!
My interpretation of Nancy Drew for a book cover assignment. I am aiming for a little mod-inspired even though it takes places in the 30s. Digital illustration © Perrin 2013.
